posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 04.14.06 (6:25 pm) I have now read about your first spell. You have the same tendency that I do with my prayers: Often it will seem that the prayer was not answered, and then I will look deeper and find that, indeed, there was an answer- just not exactly as I instructed of God. I also noticed your current employment as a Domestic Engineer of a 2-Year-Old. Truly the most important of jobs. Now I'm going to return to read about the terrors of aspartame. And I use lots of it in my tea. posted by: fairmoon (reply) post date: 04.14.06 (6:30 pm) always seems to be the way with the divine- go figure. yuppers I am a domestic engineer for my soon to be three year old! but i moonlight two days a weeks as an accountant clerk. Whoo hoo! party girl! how's your little one and her babe doing these days? Fm read about splenda and stevia while you're at tastes better and better for you! posted by: theunforgiven (reply) post date: 04.14.06 (6:49 pm) I agree with PD, I would say that your INTENT is the important thing. The force that we call god or the spirit world does seem to respond but the answer isn't always what you want in an immediate sense but I think that it is what works best for you in the end as long as your intent is good. If your intent is evil then you may get what you want but there will be a price to pay down the road. Call it karma or whatever you want but I have seen it happen too many times in too many ways to doubt it anymore. You screw with someone unjustifiedly and it does come back to visit you. posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 04.14.06 (7:31 pm) Reply to: theunforgiven I'm thinking, the three of us do not necessarily use the same language, but it sounds like we are on the same page. I very much appreciate you guys, and anyone for that matter, who takes issues of God and spirit seriously. I wish you good karma, God's blessings, Happy Easter, blessed solstice, or whatever words would be appropriate. posted by: theunforgiven (reply) post date: 04.15.06 (3:42 pm) thank you pastor dave :D I knew you were one special ones lol you understand god in a wider perspective without turing into a pillar of salt. There may be hope for the world yet. I think your perceptions are quite accurate posted by: fairmoon (reply) post date: 04.16.06 (10:24 am) I agree that it's all about intent. In fact I believe intent can make or break a spell or prayer. if you don't really care, aren't really into it, or focused it doesn't work. Why would the divine listen if your own heart wasn't in it anyway? ya know? FM posted by: fairmoon (reply) post date: 04.16.06 (10:29 am) i quite agree different words, same page. Happy Easter, I would say Happy Ostara to my pagan friends, but also say Happy easter too. my family had easter dinner yesterday, cuz that's when we were all around. It was very good and good to be with my family. My son had an easter egg hunt this morning and enjoyed it a lot. Do you do the Easter egg thing in your family? FM posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 04.20.06 (11:57 am) Reply to: fairmoon My wife is strongly committed to healthy eating, and is trying to move me away from aspartame. She has provided me with a big bowl of splenda. My problem is that it is not as sweet, and does not dissolve nearly as well. I'm spoiled, I know. posted by: fairmoon (reply) post date: 04.23.06 (8:17 am) have you tried steiva? it's unbelieveably sweet, can have an odd aftertaste, but it a hundred times sweeter than sugar, and i'm not Exaggerating |
